Looking back at 114 – “Ability”

What did we miss?

- When Olivia meets with Loeb, he quotes a line to her.  “What was written will come to pass.”  What we didn’t know then is that this is the exact same phrase that that we will see written on Nick Lane’s wall in Episode 17.  We will discuss the implications of this in full when we get to “Looking Back at 117 – Bad Dreams”.

Clue for 115 hidden in 114

I had to watch very closely for this clue…it wasn’t as obvious as some of the others have been.  At the beginning, just before they zoom in on the newspaper stand you can see the yellow symbol at the very top of the screen…

The yellow pine tree

This is foreshadowing the yellow pine tree air freshener hanging in the “Artist’s” car…

Hidden puzzle in lab notes – 114 & 115

Thanks to Di for suggesting that the blurry photos in Walter’s lab notes might fit together like a puzzle.  After a little manipulation, you can clearly see that they do fit together.  Good eye Di !!

from lab notes 114 & 115

I have inverted it so we can see the possible shapes that this might be turning into.  I have no doubt that there will be more pieces to this puzzle.  Anybody have any theories as to what it might be?

Lights on, lights off – 114

When Olivia is using her ‘special’ power to turn the lights off on the bomb, we can see the ones she has turned off.  Note the two on the right hand side…

Lights off

The camera flashes to Olivia, and then back to the lights…

Lights back on

Ooooh no…one step forward, two steps back.

The Observer – 114

It was nice to see the Observer up close this week.  For a while now, he has just been a tiny blip, and although it’s just for a split second, there is no doublt that it’s him.  You can see him as the newspaper stand man stumbles through the crowd…
