The Diagram:

The female is from The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli.
The male is from Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci.


The Notes:

Walter refers to returning to his laboratory, the ratio of its dimensions and the necessity of     understanding the proportions of his space.

He refers to 1.618 (phi) both in the ratio of LSD to serotonin and the ratio of musa acuminata (bananas) to sucrose (sugar) in his banana bread.
