One of the items that Agent Loeb brought back from Germany with him was a copy of ‘A Christmas Carol’. This could be in reference to the red and green lights that has Walter thinking of Christmas lights or to the ‘ghost of Christmas past’ (Walter’s past at St. Claire’s hospital)…

When the doctor positions the retractor and cranks Loeb’s chest open, we can see that the top is is parallel to Loeb’s body…but then when he steps back to look down on it…the retractor has turned 45 degrees…
Well staying true to ‘Fringe’ form…The Observer snuck himself into a few frames this week. Approximately 15min 50sec in to the episode, at the airport in Germany, you can see him with his back to the camera, then he turns and walks towards the camera…
