This is my best guess as to last week’s clue.
.
There were a couple of other options, but this seems the most likely. It kind of looks like a man who has had his spine ripped out through his neck. There would definitely be a lot of blood. If anyone has any other shots they think might be more likely, let me know.
.
UPDATE: Thanks to sigma, I now know that this poster was not the clue, so on to candidate number 2…
Subway sign from "Bad Dreams"
Time and name of the episode "Midnight"
.
I didn’t choose this one first, because there has never been a clue that points to the title of the next episode before. But when you take the clock and after hours bar into account, this does seem more likely.
thought that I had better slip these last images in before the new episode airs tonight. Perhaps there is a next episode clue or an Easter Egg or maybe nothing at all…you be the judge.

kemz (fat rabbit) asked aobut Nick Lane’s tattoo…here is a pic…
.
I looked up the actor, David Call, but I could not find out if the tattoo is real or part of the show. In case it is part of the show…here is what I found out about trees:
.
In the Celtic creation tradition trees were the ancestors of mankind. The Celts believed that trees had spirits and were living beings. Trees were symbols of ancient wisdom who provided the alphabet, the calendar, and entrance to the realms of the Gods. Trees were also associated in the Shamanic beliefs of the Druids and other Celtic peoples with the supernatural world. Trees were a connection to the world of the spirits and the ancestors, living entities, and doorways into other worlds. Celtic art often represented the branches and roots of trees as intertwined, a potent symbol of the interconnectedness of all life and the conscious and unconscious worlds.
.
Hmmm…interesting.
.
I will also take this opportunity to post an image of Nick’s scar…after all, it does look like a two. Maybe it’s the Next Episode Clue for “Midnight”.
I would like to talk a bit about the video that Walter was watching at the end of the episode. Here is the dialogue from the video:
WILLIAM BELL: Is the incident contained?
FEMALE VOICE: Yes, Doctor Bell.
WILLIAM BELL: How bad?
FEMALE VOICE: Bad.
WILLIAM BELL: Casualties?
FEMALE VOICE: Not sure yet. We can’t locate Brenner.
WILLIAM BELL: Is she okay?
FEMALE VOICE: She is fine.
WILLIAM BELL: Hell, do we know what triggered it?
WALTER: Obviously she was upset, William. (to the child) It’s okay. It’s alright now. Nobody is angry with you. You didn’t do anything bad. It’s alright Olive… everything’s going to be okay.

The song ‘Nellie The Elephant’ was written in 1957 by Ralph Butler and Peter Hart. It was thrust back in to the spotlight over Christmas 1984 when ‘The Toy Dolls’ recorded an upbeat version of the track which reached number four in the festive hit parade.

Another update on the elusive yellow-red-blue pattern. For those who missed it, you can read the original post here, and the first update here. For those who have been following, I found another example of the yellow-red-blue pattern at the beginning of Episode 17 – “Bad Dreams”.
.
Her Metropass was also red, yellow and blue. This is starting to become more than mere coincidence.
I am sure that there must be some things of importance on this wall of photos and clippings, so here are some screenshots. I have pointed out some things I think are interesting, if anyone has any theories, let me know. To view full size screenshots, just click on the images.

Image #1 – At the top is the number ’47′. In the middle is the number ‘C25-17′. On the right is the Massive Dynamic logo, which I have blown up at the bottom left.
C25-17 – It doesn’t seem relevant but C2517 is Chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride.

The Burlap Bear cover has changed
Last week I did a post on Ella’s book “The Burlap Bear”. I noted that the original illustrations were different from that featured in the episode. This week, you can see the book on Olivia’s coffee table, but the cover is the original one done by Christensen…
Nick Lane said that a man with glasses came to the hospital. That he spoke all the old words, that they needed warriors and that he knew how to wake Nick up. Well I don’t ever remember seeing Mr. Jones with glasses on, but he’s still my choice, and here’s why.
jones
‘He spoke all the old words‘ sounds to me like words from the ZFT manuscript…their bible, so to speak. ‘We need warriors‘ only reinforces that ZFT is behind this, and where ZFT goes, Mr. Jones goes. And the kicker for me was during the scene when Nick pulls his gun out of the drawer. You can see a round symbol on the bottom of the drawer…
symbol
At first I thought it was a zodiac circle, but then I remembered the games that Mr. Jones sent Olivia to find, so I went back to “Fringe” Episode 14 – “Ability” and I found this…click image to enlarge.
game
It’s the same wheel. So if Jones gave one to Olivia, then it’s safe to say he gave one to Nick Lane as well.
My theory is that these games are what actually activates them (wakes them up). What I wonder now is, has Olivia already been activated when she shut off the lights of the bomb? Is that the reason why she was able to see through Nick’s eyes in her dreams?

Do you think Olivia will ever play the game that we see in Nick’s apartment? What about the other games? Will we see them in future episodes connected to other people who were treated as a child? It seems there are two more questions for every answer we get.
